hand painted murals

The Pie Spot: pdx

While my partner at the time was working for them, I had the unique opportunity to paint the Pie Spot’s logo—along with a pair of quirky pink flamingos—on the side of their building in Portland, OR. The payment? A lifetime supply of pies—an offer I couldn’t resist! Since then, the mural has taken on a life of its own, appearing in social media posts, wedding photos, and even inspiring other artists’ paintings. It’s been an honor to have my work become a small but beloved part of the local community.

Quango: Werk room

Toward the end of my time with the company, I was given the opportunity to transform the office’s back room into a cozy, creative space—somewhere employees could work, unwind, or have a fun backdrop for Zoom calls. To bring the vision to life, I used a projector to paint the winding roads of downtown Portland onto one wall, adding a local touch of character. To complete the space, I sourced and installed custom acrylic lettering, seamlessly integrating it into the Quango logo bug for a polished, professional finish.

The Sexton home

For three unforgettable months, I had the opportunity to work in the mountains of Colorado, painting immersive mural rooms in a stunning multimillion-dollar home overlooking the Continental Divide. Initially, I was commissioned to bring the children’s imaginations to life—a medieval castle under siege by dragons for the son and a serene tropical beach for the daughter. But after seeing my work, the homeowner was inspired to commission a third mural, transforming his personal reading nook into a breathtaking Italian villa. It was an incredible experience blending artistry with storytelling to create unique, transportive spaces.

jacob’s bedroom

When a close friend learned he and his wife were expecting, they asked me to create a mural that would bring a piece of Colorado into their baby’s nursery. Joey, the father, had spent countless days exploring the state’s breathtaking landscapes, and while I had never been there at the time, I carefully pieced together a panoramic scene using his personal photos and other references. The result was a serene, wraparound mural capturing the beauty of the Colorado wilderness. Now, over 20 years later, Jacob has grown into a loving son to his mother, and living his best life—and the mural remains, a lasting piece of art in the home where he took his first steps.
